Hog Heaven was created in 1971 as a spinoff group of Tommy James and the Shondells. The group featured Mike Vale on bass, Peter Lucia on drums, Ron Rosman on keyboard and Ed Gray on guitar. Vale and Lucia were co-writers on such great hits as "Crimson and Clover" , "Crystal Blue Persuasion", "Sugar on Sunday" and numerous others. Hog Heaven wrote and recorded 2 albums for Roulette records at the time, one released and one never heard. Recently both albums have been digitally remastered and will be available on www.hogheavenband.com sometime in January of 2008.
